Rooted in Purpose
I am Khareema Quainoo, a community builder, emerging social worker, and entrepreneur whose work is rooted in people, purpose and connection.
My Journey- Moving to Canada was not just a change in environment,it was a transformation. It challenged me,stretched me and pushed me to discover who I truly am and what i am called to do. Over time,I realized that my purpose has always been centered around people-how we gather, how we support one another, and how we navigate life's most meaningful moments together.
The Work I Do- Today,my work exists at the intersection of culture, care, and community.
Through +233 Foods,I bring people together through shared meals and cultural experiences. Through Exhale with Khareema, I create spaces for healing, reflection and honest conversations.
Through KAFA Foundation, I advocate for dignity and care for the aged. And through my work in healthcare and social work, I support individuals, families and care workers navigating aging, grief, and end-of-life experiences.
while these may seem like different paths, they are all deeply connected, each one rooted in creating spaces where people feel seen, supported and valued.
My Approach-I believe that care should be intentional
I believe that culture should be honored
I believe that people deserve to be met with compassion, especially in their most vulnerable moments. Whether I am cooking, speaking, facilitating a healing space,or supporting someone through loss,my approach remains the same, To show up fully, to hold space and to serve with purpose.
My Vision- A world where community is created intentionally, care is compassionate and culturally grounded, people feel safe to be seen, heard and supported.
Everything I do is rooted in people, how we gather, how we heal, and how we care for one another.
